The Mouse in your House

A negative thought in your mind

Is like a mouse in the house

You know well the damage just one can cause

Think of having a thousand mice at once

Use of a trap can only catch a few

But prevents not more from entering anew

Find the hole through which it creeps in

Seal it at once and earn a piece of your mind!

They say we have 70000 thoughts a day. And for an average person more than half of it is negative and a lot of the rest is about trivial matters.

While it’s not easy to put a full stop to these, the best temporary solution is to drive away negative thoughts with opposite thoughts which im referring to as the mouse trap ( Eg: to pray for or praise the one whome you are jealous against).

The real solution will be to find the source of these negative thoughts and solve it from the roots which is referred to as sealing the hole in the poem (Eg: To settle a long kept partnership or relationship issue rather than to live with it while it occupies half the space of your mind)

Be a Worthy CEO – A Unique Conversation.

A conversation from my yet to be published book “Spiritual Salesman

Spiris: Oh! You are the CEO , You must be really busy then

CEO: Ofcourse, its a heavy job

Spiris: I always wanted to know , how do you manage all these tasks

like breathing, heart beats, digestion, blood circulation ..etc so efficiently everyday

CEO: No those are operational stuff, i have an Attendant to take care of it and

as the CEO, I have more important things to work on.

Spiris: Such as ..?

CEO: Such as whom to Marry, What to eat, whom to worship , when to sleep etc.

Spiris: Oh! I never knew this, you must be paying the Attendant heavily then

CEO: No, he works for free.

Spiris: How about other benefits. you must be offering something irresistable

CEO: No, i don’t even buy him food, nor does he leave work for a day

Spiris: I can assume, even if he takes off for a minute we won’t be having this discussion

I would love to meet such a great soul, what’s his name by the way?

CEO: To be honest, i don’t even know his name, nor do I know how his whereabouts

Spiris : Do you know how long he will be with you, like do you have any contract with him ?

CEO: I don’t know, he is just like a guest serving me on a proactive basis , he can leave anytime and I have no control over it

Spiris : Then you must take very good care of such a selfless attendant and pay him back somehow

CEO: I don’t know how to do that , I never thought about him this way. Can you please advise?

Spiris: I am no one to advise, however at the bare minimum be thankful to Him and be a worthy CEO to such a great Attendant.

( The CEO in the story refers to your conscious mind/nafs and the Attendant refers to the Soul/subconscious mind/ Rooh)

The Poor Farmer & The Mighty King

Once a plain land made a pact with a farmer, that if you remove the thorns and the weeds from me i shall turn out to be a fruitful land. The farmer agreed and removed all the unwanted obstacles from it, in no time the land turned out to be a lush green garden with flowers of all kinds and fruits of all types.

People from near and far came just to have a look at this great garden and went back satiated in their eyes and stomach with the great hospitality of the farmer. It didnt take long for the news to reach the Mighty King, and He personally came to visit the beautiful garden one day. The farmer welcomed Him with all his warmth and before departing the King praised the farmer for creating such a beautiful garden.

In response , the farmer said to the King with humility “My Lord, the land, the garden and this poor me, all belong to You. I am just a mere care taker and a subject in your kingdom. “The King was impressed with the farmer’s words and became a regular Visitor to the garden and made the farmer among the best of His friends

The Land in the story refers to your heart, the thorns to the malice in the heart, the King to the Creator Himself and the farmer is none other than you.

I Leave the choice to you. Who do you want to become

A mere land owner, a successful farmer or a friend to The Mighty King Himself ..
