They say we have 70000 thoughts a day. And for an average person more than half of it is negative and a lot of the rest is about trivial matters.
While it’s not easy to put a full stop to these, the best temporary solution is to drive away negative thoughts with opposite thoughts which im referring to as the mouse trap ( Eg: to pray for or praise the one whome you are jealous against).
The real solution will be to find the source of these negative thoughts and solve it from the roots which is referred to as sealing the hole in the poem (Eg: To settle a long kept partnership or relationship issue rather than to live with it while it occupies half the space of your mind)
Once a plain land made a pact with a farmer, that if you remove the thorns and the weeds from me i shall turn out to be a fruitful land. The farmer agreed and removed all the unwanted obstacles from it, in no time the land turned out to be a lush green garden with flowers of all kinds and fruits of all types.
People from near and far came just to have a look at this great garden and went back satiated in their eyes and stomach with the great hospitality of the farmer. It didnt take long for the news to reach the Mighty King, and He personally came to visit the beautiful garden one day. The farmer welcomed Him with all his warmth and before departing the King praised the farmer for creating such a beautiful garden.
In response , the farmer said to the King with humility “My Lord, the land, the garden and this poor me, all belong to You. I am just a mere care taker and a subject in your kingdom. “The King was impressed with the farmer’s words and became a regular Visitor to the garden and made the farmer among the best of His friends
The Land in the story refers to your heart, the thorns to the malice in the heart, the King to the Creator Himself and the farmer is none other than you.
I Leave the choice to you. Who do you want to become
A mere land owner, a successful farmer or a friend to The Mighty King Himself ..
